Approximately $2 million will be invested on renovations in lakefront arena, along within-kind marketing and publicity for both Academic and Athletic Programs.
A successful basketball program equals increased enrollment, which represents a minimum of $20k per new student enrolled for the university.
Supporting the Big Blue Collective at the University of New Orleans plays a pivotal role in empowering student-athletes, revitalizing athletic programs to conference prominence, and strengthening community ties.

EMPOWERING STUDENT ATHLETES THROUGH NIL OPPORTUNITIES
The Big Blue Collective is UNOs official Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) collective, established to provide student-athletes with resources and connections to maximize their NIL potential.
Operating independently from the university, the collective facilitates opportunities for athletes to monetize their personal brands through endorsements, appearances, and merchandise sales. This support is crucial in attracting and retaining talent and ensuring that athletes can focus on both their academic and athletic pursuits .
REVITALIZING UNO ATHLETICS
The collective is instrumental in the resurgence of UNO's athletic programs, particularly in restoring Privateers Basketball to its former glory. By providing financial support and resources, the Big Blue Collective aims to elevate the competitiveness of UNO in the Division I landscape.
Donations contribute to enhancing training facilities, academic support, and overall athlete development, which are essential for building championship-caliber teams.
